Craig Johnstone — Managing Director

Craig has 26 years of experience in the marketing services industry and is very much a customer facing businessman who enjoys nothing more than getting to grips with those projects that others may find a little daunting!

He enjoy's sharing his experience and knowledge with his associates at the North Leicestershire branch of the Federation of Small Businesses, 4N Loughborough, Get Bizzing a networking group that he currently hosts, fellow members of Rothley Park Golf Club and those who share a passion for Twitter.

His appointment to the board as Joint Managing Director came on 13th June 2003 and was subsequently appointed Managing Director on 1st December 2006 following a re-structure of the business.

Prior to forming Mulberry Square Marketing Services, Craig owned and managed Piano Street Print Solutions, a very successful print management & internet services consultancy, which was merged with Box Room Design to create Mulberry Square.

Other practical experience has been gained through successful periods as a Business Development Manager with Abbott Colour Technology, a Sales Representative with Polar Print Group and as a Sales Representative, an Estimator and a Lithographic Machine Minder with Raithby Lawrence & Company Ltd.

He gained his formal qualifications at Southfields School of Print, South Nottinghamshire College, National School of Printing, De Montfort Training Group and through the Joint Training Council, an organisation formed through a partnership of the NGA and the BPIF.

Jacqueline Johnstone — Finance Director

Jackie balances her role with Mulberry Square alongside her other business interests - no mean feat when you consider the time it takes to orgenise the lives of her family too.

Already Director and Company Secretary, Jackie took up the executive position of Finance Director on 4th July 2007.

Prior to this, and since Mulberry Square's incorporation in 2003, Jackie has performed a non-executive role, providing invaluable advice with financial and HR related issues.

The Company benefits day to day from the 20 years of experience she accumulated in her time with NatWest plc and The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc, most recently as a Human Resources Consultant within the retail sector of RBS.

Jackie's other business interests include:

• A leading children's franchising business called Jabberjacks. Jabberjacks franchises offer parties for 2-7 year olds and classes for 2-4 year olds

Ian Bursill — Control Systems Manager

Ian renewed his association with Craig in November 2005 following a successful 3 year stint with Leicester's pre-eminent full service agency, Gayton Graham - initially as Head of Creative Services and latterly joining their board as Production Director.

Prior to this, he played a key role in helping to broaden the Piano Street Print Solutions proposition in preparation for its merged transformation into the Mulberry Square business we see today.

Benefitting from his experience as a professional, and award winning,  documentary wedding photographer, he is responsible for the development and management of the company's quality, colour and environmental control systems.

His experience has also included training in proofreading with the Stephen Lloyd Training Group, whilst his formal qualifications include Level 2 and Level 3 NVQs in Digital Artwork for Print gained at the National School of Printing.

James Thompson — Manager of Digital Communications

James joined the company in 2004 after working as a web developer and systems integrator. Soon after starting with Mulberry Square he was given responsibility for managing the digital communications aspect of the business, both as a lead web developer and evolving the IT infrastructure of the company.

With 7 years' experience in web development and IT he is continually honing his skills and investigating new areas to better serve Mulberry Square's internet customers as well as providing a stable, reliable platform for others to perform.
