Background
de Montfort Housing Society owns and manages around 4,000 properties within the East Midlands area. Edwin Court is set in the heart of Market Harborough and built on what was originally the home of the Harboro Rubber Company. The development consists of 16 two bedroom apartments and 24 one bedroom apartments and is made available under the HomeBuy shared ownership initiative.
Task
- To develop a brand identity for the project
- To design corporate marketing literature for the project and design and implement a newspaper advertising campaign in order to actively promote the development to its target market
Solution
- Design of Edwin Court branding, which symbolises the regeneration of this old site
- Providing the client with an editable PDF to enable them to make instant changes to the pricing schedules and to then print them on site
- Production of a 16 page sales brochure in support of the development
- Our photographers provided bespoke photography of Market Harborough and the surrounding area to enhance the brochure’s appeal
- Development of a newspaper advertising campaign designed to promote the development in the local press area
Results
- Despite the significant downturn in the housing market, approximately 50% of the available properties are now occupied, either on a rental basis or under the Shared Ownership scheme
- The uptake of the initial run of 500 brochures was such that these had to be reprinted
- Due to the success of the newspaper advertising campaign, the show apartment has experienced a good weekly footfall
