And it doesn't stop there; of course printed newsletters, magazines and letters all require data processing, personalisation, poly-wrapping and envelope enclosing.

Data processing and Sorting

You can be sure that when you pass your mailing list on to us it will be passed on to a data processing team with experience in working with a variety of applications and the knowledge to handle all of your data processing requirements.

From simple reformatting, merging or purging, to de-duplication or suppressions, we can fulfil your requirements. Along with ensuring that appropriate salutations are used and your data is correctly cased we can help you make sure your data is fully optimised.

We will also ensure that you are able to obtain the most efficient postal discounts available from your data. Using the most up to date sortation software we can sort your data to any UK or international sortation level available eg. Presstream, Mailsort and Walksort. We can even obtain further discounts by getting your printed mailing packs accredited with Royal Mail for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) or Customer Bar Coding (CBC).

Print Personalisation

Whatever your requirements, we have the solution. With Continuous, Cut Sheet, Thermal and Ink Jet personalisation all available to us, even the largest job is turned around quickly and efficiently. We use industry leading equipment to provide high quality, high volume solutions. Applications include Direct Mail, Transactional Billing & Statements and Publishing.

Poly-wrapping

Our mailing partner is the leading poly-wrapping company in the UK and has been providing poly-wrapping services for over 26 years.

We have access to an extensive range of Sitma™ polythene wrapping lines providing capacity to wrap over 500,000 items per day. Each of the six lines are capable of handling packs containing up to 11 separate items ranging in size from A6 right through to A3. Polythene is available in a variety of sizes and colours, including designs printed to your specification giving the individual impact you require.

The automatic lines are ideally suited to the wrapping of printed catalogues, brochures and other literature. Included within the high-tech machines is a specialist facility for the wrapping of larger catalogues and directories which are capable of handling spine widths up to a massive 75mm. A “pick and place” device is available that can cover mount CDs, sachets or gifts onto the front of magazines. They can also be glued into place. The addressing of your packs can be by a pre-personalised address carrier or by using our high speed ink-jetting heads which can personalise whilst wrapping either onto the outer polythene or onto your books or brochures.

Enclosing

For larger quantity mailings we can offer a mechanical method of enclosing on fully automated Pitney Bowes flowmaster enclosing lines. For envelopes that fall between C6 (114mm x 162mm) and oversized C4 (324mm x 235mm) mechanical enclosing is the solution. We can even supply printed envelopes for you!

For over 26 years our mailing partner has been tirelessly recycling large amounts of waste and been striving to reduce usage of its various facilities such as electricity, gas and water. The main driver for this has been economics along with a sound philosophy of wanting to recycle where possible.

In February 2008 they were successfully awarded the industry standard environmental accreditation ISO 14001.
